Empowering Women, Transforming Communities
Located at our main Campus, our Extension Centre is a beacon of hope for women from diverse backgrounds. Since its inception in July 2008, the Centre has been dedicated to enhancing the livelihoods of agricultural labourers, artisans, homemakers, and other marginalized groups.
Bridging the Developmental Gap
Despite efforts by NGOs, the region had witnessed limited progress in empowering women. To address this gap, our Institute launched targeted rural development initiatives through the Haliyal Extension Centre. The Centre’s innovative approach combines skill development, resource access, and social awareness to drive meaningful change.
