From The Desk Of President
We all are happy that we are completing 20 years of successful journey of the Institute.
At the outset I appreciate and thank all the members of the Governing Council to time and again contributed to the success of the Institute. My special mention for the support and guidance given by the officials of our partner Canara bank. I will not much deliberate on the figures of the performance which have been reflected elsewhere in the report but accentuate the issues which require attention. I am happy that the cumulative settlement rate is around 76%, I look forward for 100% settlement with bank linkages in near future.
The Institute has thus far done great service to the rural India and achieved nationwide Accolades and recognition. The Institute has partnered with many corporates to better the lives of rural youth and I foresee more corporates coming forward in this endeavor. I feel proud that our Kaushalya motor driving school has trained one full batch of women who have taken up job of plying vehicles for the ZillaPanchayat. I look forward for such initiatives to make women empowered in real sense
The performance of last 20 years has given us great confidence that we can do more things in a better way to uplift the lives of the rural poor
The primary object is to reduce the divide of economic imbalances as such, Self-Help Groups of women are mobilized on regular basis and train them for income generation.
I look forward for innovative ideas in our Institute to meet the needs of the present time and my endeavor with the support of colleagues would be to give new shape and imprint to the institutes.
The time has come to renegotiate the ideas of fostering of self-employment and small entrepreneurship. Our next initiative would be in this direction.
I am sure our partner in the venture, Canara bank would continue to support us like before in this fostering of entrepreneurship with more credit linkages.
